Trades into Wednesday, February 8, 2017

.
If you are on the blog page in a web browser from a computer, please subscribe to this using the "Follow by Email" link to the left.  Having your email helps me to notify you when Google mucks up email distribution, as they did at the beginning of May.

A couple of readers have indicated they do not see the "Follow by Email" area to enter their email.  If you are using a mobile device (iPad, phone, etc.) you may see a button "View web version" under the "Home" button.  Select "View web version" and you should see the area.

Here are the theoretical holdings going into today's open:

Four new positions have been enabled for 2/8:

TPSLong1 is a 10% position, TPSLong2 is a 20% position, TPSLong4 is a 40% position.  You get the idea, but send me a note at the bottom of this blog entry if this is not clear.

A reader had a question on how this works.  If you have $100,000 to invest, TPS 1-2-3-4 is a 4-position strategy.  This means that $25,000 is allocated to a full position ($100,000 / 4 = $25,000).  TPSLong1, which is a 10% entry signal, would allocate $2,500 to the first purchase ($25,000 * 10% = $2,500).  If you have different than $100,000 as a starting point then scale your entry accordingly.

Note, commissions play a big role here in your profitability.  If you have not watched our meeting video you need to do so.  The link is here.  The handouts from the presentation are here.  I strongly urge you to take the time to review these materials.  These strategies are not small-account strategies.
